  • 'Can't beat this location for peace AND convenience'

Langton Cottage is in a perfect situation for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. We LOVED it! It is 50 meters from what some of Kevin's guests have expressed as the most beautiful section of the Island's Coastal path going south to The Sound. Also, being on the edge of the outer harbour it is about 100 metres from the Port St Mary's inner harbour - a most beautiful spot, with a lovely walk around the bay to enjoy the beach - wet suits probably a must for most humans but dogs have a great time swimming or with a ball. Co-op & post office 10-15 mins walk up the high street & train station about 25 walk mins away for the wonderful Manx steam railway to Douglas. The cottage is really clean and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen. Kevin is on hand to sort any issues without delay We so appreciated being able to bring our dogs to the Island for the best ever week of dog walking! Thanks Kevin, see you next year! .

  • Comfortable and meticulously cared for cottage

Beautifully maintained and equipped cottage. Beside the boats and the RNLI. Pretty garden. Polite and helpful owner.

  • Lovely, homely cottage

We have just returned from a home from home stay in Langton Cottage which is well equipped and has everything you could possibly need and more. Kevin has thought of everything to make his guests welcome (including a walking stick) and is only a phone call away. There was a welcome pack in the kitchen and even fresh fruit and roses on the table in the dining room, together with a detailed information booklet. This contained details of the cottage, information on whereabouts of restaurants, shops, bus stops and even telephone numbers for local doctors etc. There was a wealth of tourist information, books and games available. The beds were comfortable with crisp white linen. The garden has lovely views (weather permitting) and is a little sun trap. A lovely, homely cottage. Thank you Kevin. We would have no hesitation in returning and in recommending Langton Cottage to anyone who was looking to stay on the Isle of Man.

  • Exceptional

Langton Cottage is a wonderful little gem. Fabulous location, exceptionally comfortable, spotlessly clean and so very very welcoming. The standard of everything was excellent. Kevin provided lots and lots of little extras and thoughtful touches that really helped to make our stay fantastic. Will highly recommend to our friends and hope to be back.

  • Fantastic Place to Stay - Langton Cottage - Port St. Mary - Isle of Man

We have stayed here many times now, it is difficult to find self-catering accommodation which is homely, cosy and practical - we found this place a few years ago and it certainly fits the description. Kevin, the host, is contactable if required and responds very quickly. The cottage has 3 bedrooms each with a double bed, a large lounge / dining area, kitchen with all you need, a family bathroom with bath and over bath shower and a small toilet downstairs. Views across the bay from the rear and if nice weather, a rear garden where you can sit in peace. Lovely place to base yourself if you are a tourist. There are walks around the harbour and bay that are not strenuous and if you like walking in the hills, there are coastal paths near the cottage. Come and stay, it is a fun place to stay and there is lots to do on the Isle of Man. Steam Trains, Electric Trams, Mountain Tram, Horse Trams, Laxey Water Wheel, TT Race Course, Zoo, Glens with another Steam Train, Coastal Towns, Castle at Peel - what is not to like.

  • Superb cottage- ideal location

This was our first visit to the Isle of Man, and we found the cottage lovely, very welcoming, comfortable, warm, well-equipped, in a quiet village, with a co-op, post office and cafes. It is a homely cottage in an excellent location for visiting the whole island. The cottage provided everything we needed, and our host was friendly and available to us with useful local information and knowledge. Ideal position for coastal walks and enjoying the scenery. The public transport around the island is easily accessible from the cottage. In one day, we were able to use the steam train, horse tram, electric tram, Snaefel rail and bus services using a one day Go Ticket. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. We will visit again

  • Well equipped, comfortable cottage in great location.

My sister and I spent a week at Langton Cottage with her dog. Kevin had left a lovely welcome package of local cheeses, crackers and even a bottle of wine. Everything was very clean and the bedrooms were roomy with very comfortable beds. There were some great books to read and a very useful selection of maps and guides. It was a great location and base to explore the island.

  • Our Holiday Cottage

Excellent accommodation, located in a lovely village, which made our holiday so enjoyable on this great Island!

    — The Maddrell Family, 27 Aug 2022
  • Homely, immaculate cottage in amazing waterside location

Langton Cottage is a beautiful stone cottage which backs onto Port St Mary’s harbour. There is a cosy living room with open fire, a dining area with an array of books and games for guests to use and peruse. The bright kitchen is well equipped and there is a modern bathroom. The three large bedrooms are lovely and comfortable with plenty of storage. The host, Kevin, has really thought of everything to give his guests the best experience. There was a welcome pack of wine, cheese, milk, tea and coffee but also a supply of essentials like dish washer tabs, washing up liquid, hand soap and cling film (to name but a few!) which make life so much easier! We could launch our paddle boards and kayak via the slip just metres from the sunny back garden. Port St Mary has a sandy beach and all the amenities you need are within walking distance.

  • Fab time at Langton Cottage

Wonderful holiday, well equipped and homely. Kevin lovely person and was always there if needed. Port of Erin and Castletown wonderful places to visit and eat. All in all, excellent holiday and look forward in returning. Thanks Kevin

  • Great family and pet-friendly cottage

Langton Cottage is a beautifully clean, well-equipped, comfortable cottage, close to the harbour in Port St Mary. Easy access to all areas in the south of the island, including great walking, beaches and water activities (enjoyed by the teenagers in our group). We very much appreciated the welcome pack of goodies (wine, fruit, Manx cheese etc) and we made good use of the comprehensive information pack, with useful suggestions of places to eat locally. The owner, Kevin, was helpful and accessible but not intrusive, and we found Langton Cottage a very relaxing place to holiday with our family and small dog. We certainly hope to return.

    — The Quinlan Family, 27 Jul 2022
  • Top Notch

Excellent seaside cottage with lovely view from the back. Easy parking. Old and modern theme which really works well. Has all manner of things available not just in the kitchen for example (which also includes an ample welcome pack) but throughout We live on the island and have been moving from place to place as we await our new build apartment and this was our 5th stopover and for sure the best. Really enjoyed our stay which I think is quite something when we have been "flitting about" and are anxious to get to our new permanent abode!

    — The Kelly Family, 11 Jun 2022

  • Just Perfect

We have just returned from a lovely week staying at Langton Cottage in Port St Mary, IOM. The cottage is in a really good position for local shops and a nice pub just 5 minutes walk away, it is also an easy walk to the harbour. The bus to Douglas if needed stops outside the Albert pub. The cottage itself is really quiet and homely and we were impressed how clean and well equipped it was too. A baby gate was provided so the kids were safe on the stairs. We used the key safe on arrival which was easy to use. We would recommend the cottage to other people without hesitation. I can't think of anything we didn't like during our stay, but the owner Kevin is available if needed. Thanks. See you again. 10/10

  • Lovely Peaceful Cottage, Idyllic Location

Cottage is well equiped, spacious and spotlessly clean. Everthing you could need is supplied and the owner lives next door (and is very friendly and helpful) so easy to contact if you did have a problem. The location is lovely, right by the harbour and a very short walk to benches where you can sit and just look at the sea. Very quiet location but well situated for visiting other places in the south of the island. We went everyday to have breakfast at The Sound Cafe which is only probably a 5 minute drive away. No problem parking on the road, easier than trying to park behind the cottage. Would definitely recommend stopping here.

    — The Owen Family, 19 Oct 2019
  • Very good accommodation, clean, cosy and everything worked. Dogs allowed.

Langton Cottage was great. The accommodation was great, as described online. All very clean when we arrived.3 double bedrooms all with big comfortable beds, 2 of which could be made into singles if needed. Hair dryer was provided. Bathroom upstairs was modern and all worked well. Shower over bath was fine. Kitchen had everything and the dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine all worked very well. Again it was spotless to move into. Lounge/dining room was spotless and well laid out and TV worked perfectly on our cosy wet evenings. The cottage was quick and easy to warm up with the heating. We didn't have to use the open fire but I bet it was lovely when lit. The downstairs toilet was very handy. Lovely walks from the door around the harbour and along to Chapel Beach. A two minute walk along to The Point in the other direction so it was lovely for the dogs. We would definitely recommend this cottage and we hope to return.

  • Fantastic Cottage

Great location for visiting all attractions on the Isle of Man. Cottage itself is lovely - there is nothing Kevin (the owner) hasn’t thought of. Would definitely recommend Langton Cottage.

    — The Hamilton Family, 07 Sep 2019
  • Beautifully presented period cottage in great location.

Beautifully presented period cottage right next to the harbour. The owner has taken a lot of care to get everything right, and is always helpful. He even leant me a heat-pad when I put my back out. Port St Mary is a quiet fishing port, and the cottage is right next to some superb coastal walks. I've already booked in for next year!

    — The Diplock Family, 01 Sep 2019
  • Perfect pet-friendly cottage with beautiful sea views

Located near Port St Mary harbour, perfect for visiting The Sound, Port Erin, Peel etc. Lots of sea glass on the harbour beach which my daughter collects for her craftwork. Close enough to Douglas for Tesco shopping. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and is so comfortable and homely. A great time was had by all.

    — The Beckett Family, 18 Aug 2019
  • A welcoming cosy cottage

Enjoyed our stay in a beautiful cottage and garden. Everything you would need for a good self catering holiday. All the rooms are well maintained, clean and comfortable and we have re-booked for next year within 3 days of coming home.

    — The Dixon Family, 03 Aug 2019
  • Excellent location. Great harbour views. Nice small garden for relaxing in. Welcoming host.

A very well renovated old cottage, with all mod cons. Kevin our host went out of his way to make us feel welcome, added extras in the way of goodies included a bottle of wine, selection of IOM cheeses, crackers & etc. If local history is your interest, panels situated around the town tell the story of Port St Mary. Nearby in the town is the station of a heritage steam train that runs from Port Erin to Douglas from where an electric railway train can be taken to Laxey & on to Ramsey. If you should choose to do so alight at Laxey and take the Mountain Railway to the top of Snaefell, it is well worth the trip. Boat trips can be taken from the harbour which is close by the cottage. Port Erin is the adjacent town and there can be found a well stocked super market. The cottage itself is very comfortable and well cared for by Kevin. All that one could ask for is provided. Kevin is very welcoming and also made a point of wishing us farewell on our leaving. In all the cottage was our home for a week and very happy we were.

  • Superb place to stay to explore Isle of Man

With views of the nearby sea, this lovely cottage was just right for this family with adult children (and our dog) to use as a base for walking and exploring. The cottage is beautiful, cosy and well equipped to a high standard. Kevin the owner lives next door and is most helpful without being at all intrusive. We had a wonderful time and can highly recommend this as a place to stay.

  • Hallo

    And in English

    Hello
We were 5 people in the period from 25.05.19.to 07.06.19. at the time of TT housed in Kevin's guesthouse.
Kevin is a very nice and obliging host who received us warmly. The whole house with room, bath, kitchen and all other rooms are very clean and nice and lovely furnished. The nice kitchen offers everything for self catering and what you need for cooking. After a week, a cleaning team came and cleaned the whole house thoroughly. You can not live better and we felt very well.
Bus connections to Douglas Optimal 3 min. go to the bus stop. We were very happy that we were allowed to live with Kevin. The value for money was very good and we hope, should we come back to the island, we are allowed to live with Kevin again.
Thanks again Kevin for the great time we were allowed to spend in your guest house.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in Langton Cottage. The accommodation is spacious, clean and fresh with nice touches such as fresh flowers and little treats, cheese, wine, milk etc. The area overlooks the harbour and bay. We especially liked the sheltered South facing garden, ideal for BBQs.

  • Gold Standard

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at Langton Cottage; 2 adults and a 3 year old Spaniel. We chose well! The house is beautiful; spacious, exceptionally well maintained, very comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped. Every need has been anticipated and provided for. The location is superb, being close to the harbour, with plenty to interest during the day, but also very peaceful and quiet at night. There are lovely walks right from the door. We found we had everything needed here for a perfect stay. The owner is a lovely chap, and is very close at hand should you need any advice or assistance. This was our first visit to the Isle of Man, but definitely won't be our last!

    — The Sinfield Family, 25 May 2019
  • You won’t find a better cottage to stay in on the Isle of Man

This is our 2nd year we have stayed here and as always, our expectations are exceeded. Cosy cottage with walks around the bay of Port St Mary on your doorstep. Lots of on road parking or off road around the back. The cottage has everything you need, and if it has not, then ask Kevin and before your very eyes it appears. Not an extension or anything but the smaller items. If there is nothing on TV then catch up TV is available via Freesat. Lots of books to read and information provided for things to do or places to eat are provided in a folder and this is always bang up to date. We have already booked for next year so book early. You won’t be disappointed.

  • Wonderful cozy stay.

It's not easy to write an review and not hit the repeat button with the earlier written comments, on how great this cottage is and how good the treatment from Kevin is. And all of them are telling the full truth. It is a wonderful clean cottage with all the modern comfort in you you need. Two things I haven't seen mentioned, the first is that Kevin has managed a complete Tourist Information in the bookshelf. So you don't have to go out and look for it. Second when you go out the front door and turn left it's only a 100 yards to the ocean…….. Sorry if my English is not correct but I'm not native English.

  • Spacious well presented cottage with sea views

Very happy with Langton Cottage. Good size, well equipped, well furnished, view of sea, cosy with good central heating. On street parking outside house without difficulties. Owner very helpful. Coastal path walks from front door. IOM excellent, especially for a family holiday.

  • Fantastic

A lovely cottage with everything you need, the owner kevin very helpful but not intrusive. fantastic location with all amenities close by. lovely location for dog walking, would highly recommend this cottage to other people who are planning on visiting the isle of man.

  • Delightful holiday home.

We had a splendid week at Langton holiday cottage in Port St.Mary. Every care had been taken to provide all that was needed. Kevin is a perfect host, who welcomed us,was available should we want any advice, but did not intrude in any way. We were grateful for the delicious goodies left for us on our arrival. We would definitely recommend the cottage which was very clean, warm and comfortable. Port St.Mary is a delightful base from which to explore the island, and we kept finding new places. Turn either way out of the cottage and there are delightful flat walks along the coast. An excellent Sunday lunch just around the corner, and on Friday we enjoyed a meal at the local Fish Shop, which had an extensive menu. Luckily we had mostly beautiful sunny days, enhancing all the lovely views, and we found the local people so friendly and hospitable.

  • Beautiful cottage in lovely location

Langton cottage is in a beautiful setting. We had a lovely stay. Kevin, the owner, was very helpful with places to visit and we very much appreciated the welcome items he left for us after a long journey. Lovely spot to explore the Isle of Man from. Cottage is well equipped with lovely comfy beds and good WiFi connection.

    — The Goodman Family, 08 Sep 2018
  • Ideal family-friendly cottage

The cottage fully lived up to the photos on the website. A lovely, modern bathroom with plentiful hot water, and big white, fluffy towels and the best equipped kitchen I have come across in a holiday cottage. Kevin has anticipated every need - I was almost sorry we didn’t eat in more often! The beds are extremely comfortable with crisp white bedding and snuggly duvets. There’s even a good quality hair dryer. The living area comes with an extensive range of reading material to suit all tastes, dvds, games and a comprehensive range of guides on things to do on the island. The patio area outside is an ideal place to enjoy a coffee or a drink - and it was a very thoughtful touch to provide a welcoming bottle of wine, a selection of local cheeses, crackers, fruit , milk, coffee, tea...... The cottage backs onto a quiet lane from where it is a short stroll along to the town and round the harbour walk to the beach.

    — The Craik Family, 25 Aug 2018
  • Excellent holiday

This is an excellent location, very comfortable accommodation and a host that thinks of everything. Lovely walks and good public transport on your doorstep. Would totally recommend it to everyone.

    — The Rutland Family, 18 Aug 2018
  • A very special place to stay

A wonderful second visit to Langton Cottage. Kevin truly provides a home from home in this perfect, well equipped Manx cottage that is both child and dog friendly. Fantastic walks from the house and around the island. Port St Mary is a lovely, relaxing place to stay but with enough going on for those who like to be kept busy. We can't recommend the cottage enough and feel lucky to have stayed there twice (so far)!

    — The Lowe Family, 04 Aug 2018
  • The most idyllic pet friendly place to stay on the IOM

Our stay at the Langton Cottage was so relaxing. We have not been for about 30 years and it was so pleasant to see nothing has really changed - certainly nothing for the worse. The whole family including my grandson and our pet Labrador enjoyed our stay in a beautiful cottage, in beautiful surroundings, in beautiful Port St Mary, on a beautiful island what more can you ask. We all enjoyed fishing on the breakwater and trips out on the steam railway, Snaefell Mountain Railway, Douglas Horse Tram and a full day on the beach near Kirk Michael. With trips to Peel, Port Erin, Port St Mary and Douglas relaxing. We have already booked again for next year and looking forward to it.

    — The Dixon Family, 28 Jul 2018
  • Great place to stay

    — The Mullane Family, 21 Jul 2018
  • Excellent pet-friendly seaview holiday cottage.

The cottage is an excellent base to access all amenities across the Isle of Man. Being pet-friendly is ideal. The owner is most welcoming and helpful about local information whatever your individual preference. This is a well maintained cottage with superb facilities. It is a place were you can chill out, relax and not move from or just use it as a base from which to explore this fantastic island. Highly recommended.

    — The Farrington Family, 14 Jul 2018
  • Look no further.

We have just returned from two wonderful weeks here. If you are looking for self catering accommodation on the island, then look no further. The cottage is spotlessly clean and lacks nothing in terms of equipment. Kevin is a wonderful host and always on hand if needed. The location is excellent and we have no hesitation in recommending the cottage.

    — The Crook Family, 30 Jun 2018
  • Marvellous

  • Just what we were looking for

We have been to the Isle of Man frequently over the last five or six years and have tried self-catering & hotels, both of which have been old & tired or noisy or too small. We happened to be staying in a hotel and searched tripadvisor for recommendations and Langton Cottage showed up with great reviews. We decided to have a look at the place whilst still on the Island and as luck would have it, Kevin Sykes, the owner was there to show us around. It had all of the facilities we needed including free wi-go, freesat with bbc iplayer etc, dishwasher, lots of space, information on what to do on the island, a garden to sit in, barbecue if needed and so well equipped. We decided to book the cottage for one week in April 2018 and the cottage proved to be everything we had been looking for all these years. It is very local to Lovely walks along the coast and is very quiet in its location so a good nights sleep for a change in the comfortable beds. We have already booked for next year. Would highly recommend you give this place a try, you won’t regret it. The pictures show the front of the property and the view from the upstairs landing window and a view of the garden. The Isle of Man is a beautiful Island to visit so there are a few additional pictures of views around the Island.

  • Wonderful Cottage perfect for our family holiday

The cottage is great place to stay with easy access to local amenities and village life. It is a quiet location with a lovely outlook. Recommendation of brunch in the Patchwork Cafe, or a short trip over to Port Erin for ice-cream on the sea front. The cottage comes with everything thing you need and is roomy enough for everyone without any crowding. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has every gadget for modern convenience, even a coffee maker.

  • We can't wait to return for another holiday

We have stayed on the Island a large number of times over the years, in both hotels and self-catering cottages. This must be the very best cottage on the Island. The thought put into equipping the cottage is fantastic. Of course it is dog friendly but there was a welcome treat for the dog which he much appreciated after the long journey from Heysham port. A delicious welcome pack was provided for the humans too, meaning we didn't have to go out immediately to buy groceries. Port St Mary is a pretty fishing village with good local amenities; shops, restaurants, public house. All you need really. The cottage is in a quiet location overlooking the harbour. So peaceful. We will certainly visit again.

    — The Stephenson Family, 12 May 2018
  • Superb Langton Cottage

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Langton Cottage. We loved staying here! Kevin, the owner, has thought of everything, and it really is home from home. There are three good sized bedrooms; a lovely living room come dining room and the kitchen is bright and has everything you could need. There is a coal fire in the living room, which really added to the cosiness of the cottage. The garden is a good size and gives access to the harbour side. There are lovely walks either side of the cottage, and Port St Mary is a lovely town with good facilities. We had our dog with us and she was made as welcome as we were. I cannot say enough good things about Kevin, his cottage, Port St Mary and indeed the Isle of Man. We really did have a fantastic time and we can't wait to return.

    — The Goodacre Family, 14 Apr 2018
  • A very comfortable dog-friendly cottage in a good location.

Excellent location in Port St Mary with lovely coastal walks direct from the door as well as being within walking distance of a local supermarket and several good eating places.
The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing break.
The owner, Kevin, lives next door and is on hand with helpful advice on places to visit if you want it
Hoping to come back in the not too distant future

  • A truly "home from home" experience

Langton Cottage is situated in a quiet residential street, with a small back garden which backs on to the harbour at Port St. Mary. Kevin (the cottage owner) has thought of everything one could need in the cottage, which creates a really welcoming feel as soon as you are inside, and is therefore a wonderful place to return to after a busy day sightseeing the equally wonderful Isle of Man.

    — The Loftus Family, 16 Sep 2017
  • Great location, beautifully presented.

Our second visit to this charming cottage, we had a great holiday. Super location by the harbour, the period cottage is really well equipped and comfortable. Port St Mary is quiet with great walking and beaches. Nice cafes and great pub, evening dining at the Italian (book ahead) or the Indian but there's no need to eat out with a fully equipped kitchen! Already booked for 2018 - can't wait!

    — The Diplock Family, 04 Sep 2017
  • Welcoming, sea view cottage.

It was a pleasure to stay in this fabulous cottage a stone's throw from the centre of St. Mary Port. We were welcomed by the owner and shown around, with clear explanations on how to use the appliances. The linens were all beautiful and the beds very comfortable. The grandchildren loved walking to the beach and the rock pools with their nets. Some great eateries close by and attractions within 1/2 hour drive. The perfect place for an I.O.M holiday!!

  • Langton Cottage - a Manx Treasure

We have just returned from a wonderful stay in Langton Cottage in Port St Mary, Isle of Man. Over the years we have stayed in many self-catering cottages and Langton Cottage is at the very top of our self-catering experiences. On arrival we received a fantastic Manx welcome from the owner, Kevin Sykes, which included a detailed tour of the house and equipment. We were left to enjoy a welcome pack of wine, tea/coffee, Manx cheese and biscuits and lots of information booklets and brochures to help plan our week's stay. The dog even had his own treats...as a result he was a good boy all week. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and extremely well-equipped and comfortable. It is also fantastically well-located for numerous beautiful walks, running, sea-related activities and plenty of rock climbing/pooling which our 7 and 11 year olds loved. It is a perfect place to stay to visit the whole Island, but in particular the beautiful South. We all enjoyed coming back to Langton House at the end of each day. We would not hesitate to recommend the cottage and would love to visit again. Thank you for helping to make our stay on the South of the Island so memorable, Kevin.

  • Very comfortable cottage in excellent location next to the harbour

A spacious and well equipped cottage in great location with views of the harbour. Short walk to Port St. Mary and coastal path. Very helpful owner and particularly liked the welcome pack of wine and local cheeses. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay.

  • A lovely stay in a lovely cottage with a lovely location and everything we needed!

    — The Stewart Family, 29 Jul 2017
  • Simply excellent

Fully equipped, spotlessly clean and in a wonderful position overlooking the harbour. Plenty of room for our family group of 6 and the perfect base for a stay on the beautiful Isle of Man. Kevin is a great host and takes pride in providing a self catering home from home.

  • “Well-equipped, spacious cottage in a picturesque ideal location for exploring”

I don't think we have ever stayed in a more well-equipped house with such a helpful owner. We are railway enthusiasts and when we arrived the owner had laid out railway-specific tourist literature for us. Not only that but all the information we could possibly have needed including restaurants, transport and attractions was in the house. Very helpful! There is plenty of parking opposite the house on the road and it is only a short walk into the centre of Port St Mary and to bus stops. The view from the house itself is beautiful especially from the back garden. The house itself was spotless and felt very cosy.

  • The Lovely Langton Cottage

We stayed in this cottage for a week at the beginning of July and wished we could have stayed longer. We were met and shown around our accommodation by the friendly owner Kevin who lives next door. He respects your privacy but also there if you need him for anything at all. The cottage had everything that you could possibly need for your stay and is exceptionally clean and comfortable. There is a lovely little garden to sit out in with a beautiful view of the boats in the bay. The welcome pack of wine, biscuits and cheese was a lovely thought and very much enjoyed. Kevin has certainly thought of everything to make your stay in the cottage so perfect. There are lots of good restaurants about and we would advise to book ahead for an evening meal as they are busy. Langton cottage was a lovely base for us as we explored the Isle of Man and we highly recommend this cottage if you are looking for a place to stay. We certainly hope to come back again! Thanks Kevin!

  • Langton cottage is one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in, over the last 20 years. A lovely surprise of a welcome supply of local food treats when we arrived, and fresh flowers. Kevin had thought of everything to start off our holiday. Beautiful views and walks right from the door, whatever the weather. A homely cottage with everything you could need, clean and comfortable. The island is dog friendly and we found pubs, tea rooms and attractions where our little dog Oscar was welcomed. We will definitely return!

    — Sandra Prentice, 02 Jul 2017
  • This cottage is as described. A home from home with everything you could want and more. If it wasn't there Kevin was happy to supply it. Nothing is too much trouble. Even our dog had a "welcome pack"! The cottage location in Port St Mary is excellent, whether you want to just use it as a base to explore the Isle of Man, or if it's quiet and tranquillity you desire on your holiday. You are close to all modes of transport, and the shops are a pleasant walk along the seafront. We would certainly stay again.

  • A well-equipped and comfortable holiday cottage in a perfect location overlooking the harbour. This was an excellent base for our walking holiday and the coastal walks were spectacular. Kevin the owner lives next door and was more than helpful. His local knowledge and provision of walking maps and leaflets was invaluable. The attention to small details was appreciated and the welcome pack even included a bottle of wine and cheeses. We were also fortunately provided with wall to wall sunshine which was a huge bonus, but the selection of books, magazines, games and a TV with access to movies would have catered for bad weather. We would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage.

  • Pefect harbourside property with views over Port St. Mary bay and beyond”

The location is perfect - the harbour is on the doorstep! This is a great family-friendly property within walking distance of the local amenities (shops, takeaways and pubs). The property is very much a "home-from-home", being well furnished and very comfortable. Easy access to the attractions on the South of the island and beyond (Douglas 30 mins, Laxey 40 mins, Ramsey 50 mins). Kevin (the owner) lives next door so is always available should he be needed and he even allows well-behaved dogs to stay (many thanks). We'll visit again!

  • Langton Cottage was a great base for our family reunion week in the IOM (with family members from Canada, Scotland and the South of England). Well equipped, comfortable beds, good kitchen, and a perfect location for us. Kevin was very welcoming and the whole process went very smoothly, even booking from Canada.

  • We stayed at Langton Cottage for one week and didn't want to leave , home from home with everything you could need . Beautiful views from kitchen and lounge window , the beds were exceptionally comfortable , ample room for six people , very well equipped cottage throughout , we highly recommend this cottage , and when we come back to Isle Of Man its the place to stay for us. The local pub a very short walk away with nice friendly people , well worth a visit. And Kevin made sure there was plenty of info on what to do and see on the Island. All in all a wonderful stay. 16/09/16

  • We had a fantastic time at Langton cottage. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful views over the harbour and access straight on to the costal paths meant that we could enjoy the beach easily. Kevin was helpful and on hand to give advise on the local area, without being over bearing! Thanks again Kevin and see you next year!

  • Fantastic cottage in a great location! The house is a beautiful period property, and really well-equipped. Newly renovated (new bathroom, new kitchen and new appliances, decorated throughout). Lots of personal touches, lovely of the owner to share his beautiful home and also his fantastic collection of art objets d'art. Garden very nice, small but a real suntrap and stunning views across the harbour. Ever-changing view of sea, hills, boats. Port St Mary a really nice village, quiet but ideal for race week if you want to escape the hustle & bustle but still close enough to the action. Stupendous coastal walking. Easy parking. We'll definitely be back, already booked for 2017 - can't wait!

  • This cottage is really lovely and we have had a wonderful holiday. We have had everything we needed and much more and it is the unexpected extras which have helped us to have such a good time. I have no hesitation in highly recommending it as there can be nowhere better for a relaxing holiday in such lovely surroundings.

  • We have recently returned from a lovely week at Langton Cottage, what a pretty cottage. Beautifully decorated & well equipped, we loved the coal fire on cooler nights. Port St Mary has lots to offer, there are impressive sea views when you arrive and there is a lovely coastal walk just past the lifeboat station. Nice choice of restaurants locally, we visited the Indian where you take your own wine (there's a co-op nearby). For an evening in Douglas we caught the steam train in the afternoon & got the bus back. Thank you Kevin.

    — Mike & Cerys Thomas, 04 Aug 2016
  • We were so pleased to find Langton Cottage for a thoroughly enjoyable visit to the IOM. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with the most comfortable beds. A home from home enhanced by the lovely views of both sun rise and set over the bay from the garden.

  • We had a week at Langton Cottage & it simply wasn't long enough! The cottage was a home from home; comfortable, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. All the bedrooms are an excellent size & the living area is spacious & tastefully furnished. Lots of nice touches; my Mum enjoyed a holiday read from the extensive bookshelves & there are lots of leaflets & an information booklet to help you make the most of your time away. The location is simply stunning & you could never tire of waking up to the view of the harbour. We stayed with a 21 month old & we found the cottage to be very family friendly; high chair and cot were provided & the gorgeous garden was perfect for playing. Would highly recommend this cottage if you are planning a stay in the Isle of Man!

  • After 40+ holidays on the Isle we found our week in Langton Cottage to be the best in terms of location and accommodation. A lot of thought has gone into providing everything you could need. Looking out over the well kept little garden to the view across the harbour and mountains beyond made time spent in the kitchen and dining area a real pleasure. The lounge was comfortable for relaxing in after a busy day, good free internet connection was a bonus and our 'Welcome Pack' was a very nice thought. Many thanks, Kevin.
